shared bus tour? With our private bus and driver hire service, you get the
freedom to enjoy the day on your terms— just you and your group!
Pricing:
- Groups of 7 to 12 people: $900 total. This covers the bus and driver only; tasting fees and lunch are at your own cost.
- Groups of 13 to 24 people: $1100 total. This covers the bus and driver only; tasting fees and lunch are at your own cost.
- You are hiring a bus and driver only
- Plan your own venues (* we have set tour available to use from $30pp add on)
- Create your own day tour to suit you
- You choose your own experience, sampling wines/beers/distilleries/food or doing activities
- Up to 7 hours (local area only)
- Ideal from 7 to 20 people
- You are responsible for all other cost for your private tour (ie: tasting fees/lunch)
- Extra time if you need longer than 7 hours($99p/h)
Guide to planning your tour
How It Works:
- You plan your own day: Choose your day as you want it. It could be cellar doors, cheese, chocolate, brewery, distilleries, brewery’s, any combination of these. Plan a lunch spot if you want one. Book them in as you want, yourself. Let us know your plans at least 3 days before your tour.
- Or let us plan it for you: We’ve got some amazing pre-planned tour options or we can customize a tour based on your preferences starting from an added on $30 per person (3 cellar doors, vodka/Gin, Cheese/Choc shop visits, no lunch).
Important Info:
- Your booking covers bus and driver hire only. Tasting fees and lunch are separate costs.
- We provide free pick-up and drop-off from local accommodation in the Hunter Valley.
- Tour hours: Pickup from 09:30 AM to Returned 5:30 PM.
Tour Includes:
- Comfortable, air-conditioned mini-bus with heating for cooler days
- A professional driver who’s more like a tour guide, helping you keep to your itinerary
- Insurance and public liability cover
- Opportunity to spot wild kangaroos in their natural habitat

What’s Not Included:
- Tasting fees at cellar doors
- Activities you want to do ie: segway, horse riding, smashroom
- Lunch
- Any alcohol, food, or gifts purchased on the day

* You can bring your own lunch and sit outside. Weather conditions can not be guaranteed, please check the weather before your tour if you bring your own lunch and sitting outside.
Pickup Times
You choose your own start time, we estimate from 9:30 am but you can start when you want. 9:30, 10am, 11am, 12pm, its up to you.
We will send you a pickup reminder usually the night before your tour date by either text, email, or phone call for the time you’ve told us for your pickup. Please ensure you check your phone or email for this reminder.
Pickup Radius
10km radius of Pokolbin (Hunter Valley Gardens, Broke Rd, Pokolbin) is the local area, other locations may be subjected to pickup surcharges.
Cessnock is free for pickup Newcastle, Maitland, Broke Forwich, Singleton, and other surrounding areas incur a one-off pickup charge.
Wheelchair and Mobility Accessibility
This is subject to availability. You must inform us at the time of booking if you require this service.
Hen’s & Bucks Parties
This bus and driver hire is suitable for Hens and Bucks celebrations.
No inappropriate / x-rated fancy dress or paraphernalia is accepted. Please leave the blow ups and straws at home for later.
Conditions apply – IMPORTANT, YOU MUST TELL US ITS A HENS OR BUCKS.
