Blaxland Inn

Blaxland Inn Steakhouse has been part of the Hunter Valley dining scene since 1976, set on a 28-acre estate along Broke Road in Pokolbin where the original sandstone building was constructed using bricks from the historic Blaxland homestead.

Nearly 50 years on, some of those bricks still carry visible convict handprints, and the Inn has evolved into a modern steakhouse that pairs that kind of history with hearty country food and genuine Hunter hospitality.

Harrigan’s Hunter Valley

Harrigan’s Irish Pub opened its doors on 21st April 2000 on Broke Road in Pokolbin, making it the first pub in the region and, to this day, the only one sitting right in the vineyards.

Named after a song from the musical Yankee Doodle Dandy, it’s grown from those early days into a full Hunter Valley destination with 48 accommodation rooms, function facilities, and a bistro where locals and visitors have been gathering for over 25 years.
