The Lodge is a luxurious house, ideally located in the Pokolbin vineyards district on a lovely 12 acre estate with its own boutique vineyard and olive grove, in the heart of Hunter Valley wine country. It accommodates up to 10 guests across five beautifully presented bedrooms and four bathrooms.

Set on Hermitage Road, it is close to cellar doors, cafes and restaurants, an easy walk to Restaurant Botanica and Spa Anise, and minutes from the concert venues and Hunter Valley Gardens. The property is totally private, with views of the Brokenback Range, vineyards, olive grove and a dam stocked with fish. You may wake surrounded by local wildlife, including the resident kangaroos.

Inside, a large modern kitchen opens to a dining table that extends to seat 10, comfy leather lounges and a 54 inch TV, flowing out to an undercover alfresco patio with a barbecue. There is a pool room with a custom built pool table, and a cosy first-floor sitting room with a log fire and a balcony over the vineyard. A king bedroom and bathroom sit on the ground floor, with four more bedrooms and three bathrooms upstairs, including a master king spa suite with a double spa bath.
